Japanese Voyeurs - That Love Sound / Blush Review

That Love Sound / Blush

Japanese Voyeurs

Release Date: 8th Feb, 2010
Label: Slimeball Records
Genre: Rock

The second release from a new London based band, the lead track on this double-A side is a brooding affair, beginning with a simple menacing melody before exploding into life. Lead singer Romily Alice’s beguiling voice lends itself well to the bursts of noise. ‘Blush’ again exhibits a dark edge, with waves of angular guitar and full-throated banshee wail vocals. Having just come off a nationwide tour, this is an exciting early showing from a band who sound like they could have a lot to offer.
