CHAZZSTOCK HAS MOVED

Due to unforeseen licensing issues, Chazzstock Festival, which was due to take place at Stanford Hall, Lutterworth on the weekend of June 9-10th, has regrettably been cancelled. However, Chazzstock will still live on in the form of a one-day event across both Wolverhampton Civic Hall and Wulfrun Hall on Sunday 10th June, with full sets from The Vaccines, The Horrors and Tribes plus support bands still performing in memory of the much-loved, young musician Charles Haddon.

This Many Boyfriends new single (out May 21) and video....

Fresh from sellout UK tours with The Cribs and Allo Darlin', Leeds indie-pop band This Many Boyfriends have returned with their toe-tappingly catchy new single '(I Should Be A) Communist’ which they say is about “our bass player, money and cardigans”. Produced by The Cribs' frontman Ryan Jarman, it's out on May 21st through Angular Recording Corporation and you can see the video below.

Charting a book club session that descends into hilarious chaos, this video - directed by Nik Vestberg – captures the loveable charm of this Northern quartet. Of course like all good stories, everyone lives happily ever after and has a well-deserved pint. Vestberg has previously worked with Allo Darlin’, including directing their video for ‘Capricornia’.

Since Monroe unveil acoustic video for 'Leech'....

Over the past few weeks Since Monroe have had some fantastic press support due to the release of their debut EP, ‘Lost Generation’, which came out March 26th, and was welcomed by a whole host of critics. Although they specialise in creating heavy grunge offerings infused with sensational licks and strong vocals, Since Monroe have also got a softer side, which is displayed wonderfully in their acoustic video for ‘Leech’, which is an unheard song from their currently unnamed album that they’re working on, which is set to be released early 2013. To see Since Monroe stripped back and raw, check out the video below.

Cloud Nothings release video for 'Stay Useless' & European Tour dates....

Since releasing ‘Attack on Memory’ earlier this year to a wave of enthusiastic reviews, Cloud Nothings have been preparing themselves for a jaunt across Europe that’ll see them stop off in London, Leeds and Glasgow and calling in at Brighton’s Great Escape on the way. The band have also unveiled the brilliantly surreal video for ‘Stay Useless’ and you can watch it below.

Complete with an oversized angry ape and an action figure with wizard-like powers, director and producer Jack Kubizne’s animated video follows a boy on his way to school on the trusty American school bus, only for it to be taken over by magical forces, whisking him off to faraway lands. If anyone remembers the children’s books and TV series ‘The Magic School Bus’, then you may see some similarities here.
