The Moth & The Mirror release 'Honestly, This World' on Oct 10th....

Olive Grove Records are very excited to be able to share with you The Moth & The Mirror’s debut album, ‘Honestly, This World’ which will released on 10th October. The Moth & The Mirror are made up of members of a number of bands including Frightened Rabbit, Admiral Fallow, The Reindeer Section and Arab Strap. The album was recorded by Dave McAuley at Chem 19 Studios and mixed by Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Super Furry Animals, Belle and Sebastian). From the sublime ‘Fire’ to the explosive ‘Germany’, this is an accomplished album that doesn’t disappoint given the high benchmarks already set by the members' respective musical backgrounds.

About The Artist

The Moth and the Mirror

The Moth and the Mirror are a six-piece based in Glasgow, Scotland, consisting of vocalist Stacey Sievwright (The Reindeer Section), bassist Kevin McCarvel, percussionist Iain Sandilands, drummer Pete Murch, and guitarists Gordon Skene (Frightened Rabbit, ex-Make Model) and Louis Abbott (Brother Louis Collective). In 2008, the band released single 'Soft Insides', and spent most of 2009 gigging and recording their debut album, which will be released in 2010, preceeded by the single 'Fire'.
